How is the food transported and prepared for the event? How do you enforce food quality assurance?

Our produce is transported in insulated cold boxes so the produce arrives nice and fresh. Our preparation of food for your event will begin at half an hour prior to the starting time of the event. All of our products are correctly covered during transportation, and the highest level of hygiene is followed when preparing your bespoke antipasto planks.

What time will the staff need access to the site? 

Depending on the size of your event and what theme you have got for your event will depend on the time we need access. We may require access up to 2 hours prior for some events. 

How long will the food be out prior to my event starting?

Cheese and meats will be placed out 30min prior to the start of your event.

Where are your products sourced? 

The produce that we source for your antipasto planks are a combination of local and imported products. We take great pride in sourcing the most exquisite small goods for you and your guests, and distance has no limits! Whether it is a strong and punchy Gorgonzola from the region of Lombardy in Italy; or a soft and creamy Camembert from the Barossa Valley in South Australia – our products will keep you and your guests talking about your event for years to come!

What is the payment process, and am I able to pay in instalments?

Once receiving your final quote we require an upfront deposit of 50% to secure your date & final 50% at 4 weeks out.

Where can I find testimonials of your product?

You can find testimonials from previous clients and their events on our website underneath the “work” tab.

You say your product is “bespoke”, am I able to pick and choose the products on the board I purchase?

We, at Cheese To Meat You, understand that everybody’s tastes and opinions are different. Our initial disscussions with you will enable you to view our previous work and give us an idea of what you may desire specifically for your event.

How much notice do I need to give you prior to my event?

Our calendar fills up quite fast so it is ideal to book your spot as soon as you can! However, we do understand that last minute events can appear out of nowhere! In order for your antipasto plank to be exactly what you want, we suggest getting in contact ASAP. Depending on your event type and size and our availability depends on when you should book with us. We always suggest that as soon as you know the date for your event you should make contact with us and book it in. We book up very fast and up to a year in advance. If your planning a wedding we need a minimum of 3 months notice.

Do you cater to vegetarians or vegans?

Whilst our name does suggest a lot of cheese and cured meats, we understand that everyone has different beliefs and intolerances. If you inform us of your dietary requirements, we can source many beautiful olives, marinated vegetables, legumes and organic breads for your next event.

When are final numbers, cheese board variations and payment due? 

We require final numbers, variations and final payment 4 weeks prior to the event. When there is a variation that comes up along the way of organising, let us know straight away so we can help you with the changes.
